Perspectives in the Metropolitan Region Northwest - Vocational training with energy

Metropolregion Nordwest
Kontakt:

Beschreibung:
The north-west of Germany is of outstanding national importance as an energy hub (e.g. offshore wind energy, hydrogen production, energy logistics and transport of all kinds).
The project aims to ...
• support companies across all sectors and occupational fields in recruiting trainees for apprenticeships relevant to the energy transition.
• encourage more young people to take up training relevant to the energy transition and thus promote the development of companies and the metropolitan region as a whole.
• support school pupils in their vocational orientation, in particular in the examination of training occupations relevant to the energy transition and in reflecting on the topic of sustainability with regard to their own career choices.
• provide assistance to company training staff and school teachers, particularly in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of practical contacts.
• develop and test practical teaching projects for careers-orientated lessons (particularly in business and technology lessons).
The project is aimed at general education schools and vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres and regional transition networks. The project was applied for by the Wesermarsch Economic Development Agency. It is being implemented by the IÖB and the University of Oldenburg, Department of Technical Education.
Supported by the development fund of the states of Bremen and Lower Saxony for the Northwest Metropolitan Region.
